How to keep your PC running at its top performance:

1. Have a good anti-virus/anti-spyware program running at all times with up-to-date virus and spyware definitions.
2. Have a good firewall and have it ON.
3. Have all Windows Patches installed and up-to-date.
4. Frequently clear out temp files on the computer by going to Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Cleanup.
5. Frequently Defragment your Hard Disk.  Go to Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Defragmenter.
