Voice Mail is an easy to use voice answering system
that allows your callers to leave a message when you
are busy, away from, or talking on your phone.
Subscribers can leave a personal greeting for their
callers and retrieve messages easily...even when
away from home! There is no special equipment
required, and we can have Voice Mail on your line
within one business day! Just send an email to
cservice@logantele.com or call us at 542-4121 or
934-4121 to have Voice Mail added to your line! Try
it today!
If you should decide not to keep Voice Mail, just
call us or drop us an email and we'll remove it from
your line immediately.
To use Voice Mail:
If you pick up your receiver and hear a fast-beep
dial-tone, you'll know you have a new Voice Mail
message(s).
To retrieve your new message(s) from home,
simply dial your access code
*98 and your
messages will automatically begin playing.
To delete a message, press
3 after the message
finishes playing. To save a message, press
the 2 key.
To record a personal greeting, dial your
access code (*98). When the recording begins, press
9 for mailbox
setup then press 1
for greeting options. Follow the voice prompt
instructions.
To retrieve messages while away from home,
dial the appropriate access code for your exchange
(see below). The recording will ask for your
"mailbox number" which is your seven-digit telephone
number followed by the # key. When prompted, enter
your 4-digit password, which will initially be
0000, followed by the # key. Your messages will
play automatically. We highly encourage
everyone to change their password when they first
enter the system.
To change your password, the first time you
enter the system with the default password (0000)
you will be prompted to change your password. After
that, when you wish to change your password, press
9 from the main
menu for mailbox setup then press
2 to change your
password. Follow the voice prompt instructions.
Again, we highly recommend changing your password as
soon as possible.
